Presumably well settled into the apartment by now, work continues on the Quartet op.127. Beethoven adds up several columns of numbers (possibly computations of his meagre profits from the Akademie concerts) He also starts a shopping and errand list, which he will continue tomorrow:

In the advertisement for Bäuerle’s Wiener allgemeine Theaterzeitung in today’s Intelligenzblatt (Nr.138) at 991, one of the many contents used as selling points for this journal is the fact that they first published the Petition to Beethoven, describing it as “uplifting news for friends of German music.”
