BEETHOVEN 200 YEARS AGO TODAY: Sunday, October 9, 1825

Nephew Karl comes out to visit Uncle Ludwig today in Baden, but he does not stay long and returns to Vienna quite quickly. Uncle Ludwig is not happy about this at all. From a letter written to Karl later this week, it sounds as if there has been an argument between the two, with Uncle Ludwig accusing Karl of behaving selfishly.
