Today’s Wiener Theater Zeitung includes another announcement about the upcoming Schuppanizigh Quartet concerts. “Schuppanzigh’s quartets have always been favored with an excellent reception and were in recent years recognized with distinction by friends and patrons of the art of music. Inspired by the honorable appreciation of his earlier performances, the esteemed artist will also have this year the honor of giving 6 quartets in the small Vereins-Salle, on the 17th, 24th, and 31st October, and on the 7th, 14th and 21st of November. Tickets can be obtained by subscription at Hr. Steiner’s Kunsthandlung, paternostergässchen am Graben, at 10 fl. W.W. The quartets will begin every time at 4:30 and end at 6:30.
