"Les trois graces," sketch for The Creatures of Prometheus op 43, Biamonti 236 (1800)
This sketch entitled "The Three Graces" is clearly intended for Beethoven's only ballet, The Creatures of Prometheus. According to a surviving program, the graces appear in the 7th and 8th movements of the ballet, together with Terpsichore, the muse of the dance. However, this sketch bears precious little resemblance to the final movements representing the Graces.Opus: 43
Biamonti: 236
