Fragment in E-flat, Biamonti 245 (1800) This short fragment of five bars appears at the bottom of page 151 of the Landsberg 7 sketchbook, held by the Staatsbibliothek in Berlin. As is the case with the Biamonti 244 fragments, the score is written in two staves but the pointing of the stems suggests separate parts. This appears to be another transitional section, probably intended for the Creatures of Prometheus ballet, op. 43, moving from a rather lugubrious mood to a modestly cheerful major resolution. We present piano and hypothetical orchestral versions, as well as an mp3 of the latter utilizing samples from Garritan Personal Orchestra.

Opus: 43
Biamonti: 245
