Fragment for Piano in F, Biamonti 270 (1793).

This brief fragment of three measures seems to be leading up to a cadenza or some kind of virtuoso display; the drama engendered by this sequence no doubt prompted Beethoven to note it in his sketches. Whether he ever actually used this fragment is unknown to us.
