Succession of Chords, Biamonti 278
Succession of Chords, Biamonti 278 (1793).
While this is merely a set of three chords, we can here see Beethoven working with peculiar harmonies and discords a full ten years before the Eroica symphony. Here they resolve into an A major chord. This entry is one of the clearer cases of overinclusion by Biamonti's catalog; there are literally thousands of such snippets scattered throughout the sketchbooks and they could never all be catalogued.
Biamonti: 278
