Piano Sonata movement in A minor, Biamonti 318 (1802)
This sketch for a piano sonata movement in A minor is found in the Kessler sketchbook on leaves 95r and 95v. The sketch is in two segments, one of which is apparently the beginning and the second of which is a transition leading back to the first motif. Above the last two bars Beethoven has written "prima parte." This is found among sketches for op. 31 nr. 1, and is entitled "2da Sonata." Prof. Giovanni Biamonti suggested that it may be a proposed Finale for op. 31 nr. 2.
Biamonti: 318
