First Movement of B-Flat Piano Concerto (Fragment), Hess 14 (mp3)

1st Version of B-Flat Piano Concerto, 1st Movement (fragment)(Hess 14) (1794-95) As is well known, the Piano Concerto Nr. 2 in B-flat took many years to reach its present form. Very little survives of the initial version written in Beethoven's early years in Vienna: a few score pages corresponding to measures 246-269 of the final version and some sketches for cadenzas (Hess 79) are all that is known.
