Prelude and Fugue in C for String Quartet, Hess 31 (about 1795)

This fugue is part of Beethoven's studies in counterpoint under Albrechtsberger. The arrangement for string quartet is by Beethoven. The fugue is identical to Hess 243 nr. 3, but Armando's midi has Beethoven's original version, i.e., without Albrechtsberger's corrections, while the mp3 recording and video have the final version, as intended by Beethoven.
